An example to obtain the moon shadow


这是一个 简单基于软件框架的物理分析的模型样板,包含了从重建数据进行数据选择,统计处理,最后给出物理结果(直方图或者表等)


该分析的结果存成root文件,并送入 HistDrawing 即可画出LHAASO style的图

How to use

Version 0:

The analysis is divided into 3 steps:

  • step 1: from the event loop, fill the event information into the raw histograms
  • step 2: using the raw histograms, to calculate the final moon significance histogram
  • step 3: drawing the hitograms use the LHAASO style drawing tool

Step 1: To fill the basic histogram for moon source and background:

  1. Look at LhSoft , setup the environment in which LHAASO softeware version you will work
    • for example: source /afs/ihep.ac.cn/soft/LHAASO/LodeStar-SLC6/Pre-Release/L19-Pre1_v1r1/setup.sh
  2. create your workarea/project
    • cmt create_project myArea
    • cd myArea
  3. checkout needed packages as the directory structure in LhSoft
  4. checkout other needed packages using our macro
  5. move to EventSelection and compile
    • cd <nowiki> PhysicsAnalysis /EventSelection/cmt </nowiki>
    • cmt br cmt config
    • source setup.sh
    • cmt br cmt make
  6. mv to ../share which contains the needed files to run a test job
    • mv ../share
    • python moonShadow.py

Step 1: To fill the basic histogram for moon source and background:

  1. Continue with the environment above, use pacakge MoonShadow to calculate the significance of moon:
