Learning how to use the EVO connection to the outside world during your shifts
- The rules of using EVO connection:
- switch on the video for CMSROC@Beijing at startup of your shift, and switch off the video for CMSROC@Beijing at the end of your shift.
- This is REALLY important, since CERN have other remote shifters around the world, however have only 1 quarter of the big MCU screen reserved for CSP shifts, so if we keep the video of ROC@Beijing open, it will block the MCU screen access to other or making their picture smaller on the MCU.
- How to switch on or off the video for CMSROC@Beijing:
- The only thing you need to do is to click the video mode in EVO (a small camera images in EVO), which is located in the right big screen of the shift room on the wall, to switch on or off the video for CMSROC@Beijing.
